The Chief Executive Officer of “Mongolian Railway” State-Owned JSC, Mr. O. Batchuluun, received a delegation led by Mr. Shen Jian, Deputy Director of China Energy E-Commerce Co., Ltd., of the People’s Republic of China, on January 28, 2026. 

The meeting was attended by Mr. Li Haitao, Head of the Transport Supervision Department; Mr. Li Hu, Head of the Transport Coordination Department of China Energy Coking Coal (Tianjin) Co., Ltd.; and Mr. Wang Yonglong, Head of the Procurement Operations Department. During the meeting, the parties reviewed the results of transportation operations in 2025 and exchanged views on the main directions of cooperation to be implemented in 2026, as well as opportunities to make transport organization more efficient and uninterrupted. 

The parties also held in-depth discussions on preparatory work for cross-border railway transportation along the Gashuunsukhait–Gantsmod route, which is scheduled to be commissioned in 2027, and on the long-term prospects for future cooperation. Both sides expressed their readiness to develop their partnership in a stable and sustainable manner over the long term.
